FoxHaven: Food, Glorious Food!

I seem to be raising a houseful of food critics. I do believe that I have been chopped.

Meet the Leash

Jay - Librarian, MLIS Graduate, team leader on the evening shift, coping with becoming Cubmaster

Liesl - Keeping everyone on the path, trying to stay on top of it all and losing

Kit - 18; Eagle Scout, High School and Semnary graduate, called to serve in Belem, Brazil - leaving in December, still gainfully employed!

Kyle - 9; a fan of Greek Mythology, Viola student, new swimming team member, Bear Scout

Kinneret - 8; very creative and artistic in all forms of expression (including truthfulness), loves 3rd grade and swimming

Cordelia - 6; super-smart according to her teachers, loves 1st grade, reading and swimming

The Story is This...

It was all a setup. Jay's dad became the bishop of our ward in Missouri not long after Liesl moved there and Jay returned home from his mission. Liesl was called to work with the young women and eventually, once he settled down, Jay was called to work with the scouts. After almost two years, the young women's president asked us out on an official date in August 1990. We went to a young single adult conference together in October, had our second official date in January, got engaged in February and were married in May. We moved to Alabama a year later and just haven't gotten around to leaving yet. But you never know!
