FoxHaven: I Like My Birthdays

FoxHaven's Kyle, all comfy in his burrow...

was rudely awakened and tossed out on the lawn to check his shadow.

He must have seen it, because he couldn't get back inside fast enough!

Happy 8th birthday to our favorite groundhog!

The Story is This...

It was all a setup. Jay's dad became the bishop of our ward in Missouri not long after Liesl moved there and Jay returned home from his mission. Liesl was called to work with the young women and eventually, once he settled down, Jay was called to work with the scouts. After almost two years, the young women's president asked us out on an official date in August 1990. We went to a young single adult conference together in October, had our second official date in January, got engaged in February and were married in May. We moved to Alabama a year later and just haven't gotten around to leaving yet. But you never know!
